GERMAN: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beulah Idabell German (nee Parks) (1912-2011), January 4, 2011 at the age of 98 years at Parkview Place in Enderby, BC. Beulah was born September 8, 1912. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Stanley, brothers-in-law Frank and Len German, daughter Patricia Brooking, sister Beatrice Gould. Survived by son-in-law Ralph Brooking (Eleanor); grandson Royce Brooking (Janice), granddaughters Sheila Shadlock (Richard), Wendy Vielfaure (Pierre), great-grandchildren Rebecca and Ryan, Jennifer and Courtney, P.J. and M.J., and loving sister-in-law Marg German. Beulah will be sadly missed by David, Joyce and Jason Brooking who were most caring in her later years. Beulah resided in Brandon until her loving husband Stan became ill so moved to Edmonton, AB in 1966 to be with her mother. Unfortunately Stan passed away here. From Edmonton she moved to BC, eventually settling in Enderby. Beulah enjoyed many happy years, loved to play piano, organ, reading, socializing, clipping articles and pictures from books and papers to insert into her huge Bible. Her greatest love was Sheba, her little Pug whom she walked, talked to and spoiled every day. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at the family site May 27, 2011 at the Brandon Cemetery.
