CITULSKY: Anne Marie Citulsky (nee Nychuk). On June 5th ,2011 at the Riverdale Health Center, Rivers, Anne Citulsky, beloved wife of Bill, passed away peacefully with her family at her side. Mom was born Oct 26, 1924 at Vista Manitoba. She went to Vista school and worked at several places in the Vista/Shoal Lake area .It was during this time she met Dad and they were married September 30th, 1945. Mon busied herself with raising their children and helping Dad on the farm. Her garden was always larger than necessary. Cooking and baking for her family was her joyno one went home from Babas house empty handed. Her perogies, cabbage rolls and peroshkie were not only family favorites but she used to make them for just about anyone who asked her. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren, always interested in what they were doing. And most recently, thrilled every time there was a great grandchild born. Knitting, crocheting, sewing, playing cards were some of her pastime hobbies as well as rarely missing a chance to play Bingo. Mom and Dad traveled to several places in Canada and the USA. The church was very important to Mom. She and Dad are members of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Ghost, Brandon and Mom was an active member of the Ukrainian Womens Association of Canada-Lesia Ukrainka Branch. Besides her husband Bill, she leaves to mourn her 3 children, Ron (Susan) of Rivers, Evelyn (Eric) Neufeld of Minnedosa and Michael of Vancouver B.C. She has 5 grandchildren: Suzanne (Les) Sullivan, Steven (Erin) Neufeld, Curtis (Nicole) Citulsky, Andrew (Jennifer) Citulsky and Evan Citulsky (friend Jolene Hodgins). She also has 5 great grandchildren, Ethan and Ashley Sullivan, Haylee and Cameron Citulsky and Kate Neufeld. Mom was predeceased by her parents Mike and Carrie Nychuk, 6 brothers, Steve, Melvin, Nick, Dick, Bill and Matt Nychukone sister Jean Walowetz and bother-in-law Ernie Citulsky. She is also survived by her sister Kay Drul, and sisters-in-law Mary Nychuk and Violet Nychuk. Sisters and brothers-in-law: Jean (Steve) Manuliak, Peter (Jean) Citulsky, Anne (Wally) Kolench , Alice (Nestor) Zemliak and Jean Citulsky as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Friday June 10th at Memories Funeral Chapel Brandon at 11:00 am with V. Rev. Fr. Michael Skrumeda officiating. Interment will follow at the Pettapiece Cemetery near Rivers at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Riverdale Health Center Palliative Care, Rivers.
