BASTIEN: At the London Health Science Centre on Saturday, May 7, 2011. Jeanne M. R. Bastien (nee Grosjean) of Woodstock in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late L. Harvey Bastien. Dear mother of Elizabeth (Doug) Rhea, Brenda Moran, John Bastien, Constance “Connie” Bastien, Gerald “Jerry” (Debbie), and Phillip (Brenda). Loved grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Also survived by her three brothers: Clem, Jacques and Fernie Grosjean, and three sisters: Josie Buckingham, Anna Enns and Clemence Willman, all of Manitoba. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Sharon Bastien, four sisters and three brothers. The funeral service was held in Woodstock, Ontario, followed by cremation. If desired, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Lung Association of Manitoba would be appreciated.
