KOZAK: Olga Kozak, with family at her side, passed away at Rideau Park Care Home, Brandon, on June 22, 2011. She was born in the Hillsburg Municipality, Roblin, Manitoba, March 9, 1937. She took her schooling in Sonnyslope School and the Gooselake School in Roblin, Manitoba. She met her husband Albert in Dauphin, where their three oldest children were born. They spent some time in Brandon then returned to Roblin where their youngest son was born. After eight years they moved to Leaf Rapids for an interim of 3 years, before retiring back in Brandon, Manitoba. Olga worked as a hairdresser in Roblin and Dauphin, at the Post Office in Leaf Rapids, McKenzie Seeds in Brandon and volunteered as a 4-H Leader in Roblin. She was a member of the NDP Ladies Association. Olga was a homemaker, gardener, quilter, made crafts and cared for her friends and family. She enjoyed bowling, ski-dooing, baseball, camping, and relaxing with a glass of wine. She is survived by her children: Raymond (Rosemary) Kozak, Brandon, Carla (Eric) Wenger, Winnipeg, Noreen Davis, Vancouver, Leon (Randeen) Kozak, Kamloops. Grandchildren: Clayton and Erin Kozak (Ray Euper), Niki and Ben Wenger, Hillary, Lexi, and Mason Kozak. Great-grandchild: Keira Euper. She is also survived by her siblings: Maryanne (Ed) Yagilashek and family, Winnipeg; Josephine Fedeniuk and family, Winnipeg; Yvonne Barthlette and family, Calgary; Roseanne (Nelson) Hawryluk, Strathmore, Alberta; Michael Klemetski, Calgary. Olga was predeceased by husband Albert Kozak, mother Anne Klemetski (Fedeniuk) and father Michael Klemetski. Pallbearers were Clayton Kozak, Eric Wenger, Ben Wenger, Nelson Hawryluk, Bill Pitze, and Gordon Weselowski. Memorial donations may be made in Olgas memory to the Parkinson Society of Canada.
