GAMLEY: Madge Gamley passed away, at the age of 88, on July 19, 2011 at River Park Gardens Personal Care Home with her daughters Brenda and Barb by her side after suffering a stroke on July 10. Madge was born November 19, 1922 to Ella Etta and Alvin Hill. She resided in Alexander most of her life. In 1948, she married Lloyd Gamley. Madge was predeceased by her husband Lloyd in June of 2007, sons-in-law Bob Pull 1988 and Leonard Germaniuk 2008. She leaves to mourn: Brenda Germaniuk; Barb Christianson (Jim), granddaughters Jennifer Gomes (Elmer), Kelly Ouellette (Dave), grandson Tim (Lyndsay); son Brian (Karen), grandsons Ryan and Sean; son Ron and granddaughter Brittany; eight great- grandchildren Payton, Zachary, Lucas, Dawson, Carter, Ethan, Evan and Reese; as well as nieces and nephews. Madge and Lloyd lived in Alexander until 1999 when they moved to Brandon. In December 2006 she was diagnosed with Alzheimers and became a resident at Fairview Personal Care Home until April 2008 when she moved to River Park Gardens in WInnipeg. We wish to thank all the staff at River Park Gardens for the care that Mom received during her three year stay and especially her last 10 days. There will be a service at Alexander United Church on Wednesday, July 27 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Sanderson officiating. Interment will take place in the Alexander Cemetery prior to the service with just the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Madge may be made to a charity of your choice.
