TOUSIGNANT: On Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Assiniboine Centre in Brandon, Manitoba, Donna Lee Tousignant passed away peacefully, at 48 years of age after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Donna was born to Joan and Les Kegler in Winnipeg, Manitoba on March 26, 1963. She moved to Killarney, Manitoba with Mydra and Bill Stoddart (with whom she also considered to be Mom and Dad) and their eight children. Here she spent many cherished years. Donna went on to have two beautiful daughters, Carla and Terri. Over the years, Donna had a number of jobs. A few to mention were long haul trucking, limo driving, owner of Moonstruck and Angels Den stores, and driver/dispatcher of 4-Way and ABC Taxi. Donna was extremely proud when she became a marriage commissioner, as this was a task she had wanted to accomplish. She loved all people from all walks of life and wanted to share in their special moments. Donna also loved nature. She was a perfectionist when it came to gardening and was so proud to show her flowers to anyone who would walk into her yard. She was extremely talented with her arts and crafts and was spotted at many craft shows. The most important, in life, to Donna was her family and friends. This also included all of her pets. Surviving Donna is her long-time companion Todd, children; Carla (Jay), Terri (Devin) and step daughter Drielle; grandchildren Skylyn, Jurnee, Jayson, Ryannah and Logan; honorary children Devin and Rayna; brothers and sisters Betty (Frank), Shirley (Arnold), Sandy (Chester), Terry (Kris), Lorne (Charlotte), Lynne and Lloyd; honorary sisters Candice (Rick), Val (Bob), Connie (Bridget) and Abby; parents Joan and Les, and her beloved pets Bini and Salem. Donna also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who love her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Mydra and Bill; niece Melissa; sister Fay; brother Billy; baby sister Sherry, and pets TC, Bijou, Pepper and Gizmo. A service will be held in Brandon, Manitoba at 9:30 pm, Saturday, August 13th (3 blocks west of 18th Street, on Hilton Avenue, beside the gazebo), please bring a lawn chair to the service. A "Wake" will follow at 11:00 pm at Clancy's Pub, located at 1133 Princess Avenue.
