LARSON: Jo, 1933-2011. It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Jonas George Larson on September 7, 2011. Jo will be lovingly remembered by his wife Blanche, son Todd, daughter Wanda (Rick), grandson Eric (Aleah), brother Jack (Lana), loyal companion Brie, friends Claire and Barb, Lorne and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Ed and Phyllis. Dad you have always been known as the gentle giant and a man of few words. We love you and are forever grateful for the extra four years God granted us. The family wish to extend a grateful thanks to the staff at the Souris Health Centre for their excellent care during dads many visits and stays over the past four years. To Dr. Stone and Dr. Cram for their care and devotion in Souris and to the many specialists which dad has seen in Brandon and Winnipeg. To Dexter of Kowalchuk’s Funeral Home for all the arrangements made and for always being there when needed. A private graveside service will be held at the Souris & Glenwood Cemetery.
