ALLEN: Beatrice Mae Allen (nee McCormick). It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved and beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother Beatrice Mae Allen. Beatrice was born an only child on July 28, 1934 to William and Amelia McCormick. Beatrice was raised on a farm in Cardale, Manitoba. She then met the love of her life Jack Allen and they married in 1955. They enjoyed a life of going to dances and social gatherings with their many friends. She loved camping and the outdoors, playing cards, knitting, laughing and gave the best hugs. They camped many summers at Curran Park where she was happy to spend the day with her children while Jack went to work. She had a great love for her Siamese cats, always having one or two around the house. She devoted her life to her family Jack (her best friend) and their 7 sons and 1 daughter. All of her grandchildren were her pride and joy and each held a special place in her heart. Family gatherings meant the world to Beatrice as she enjoyed having all her family together. Left to cherish Beatrices memory is her loving husband of 56 years, Jack; son Jim (Donna), children Tyler (Janice), Brett (Danielle), Josh (Natasha) and Scott; son Don (Cheryl), children Cheridon (Neal), Tory; son Lawrence (Donna), children Cindy (Randy Riege), Tracy (Barry Chapman); son Harvey (Pat) children Candace (Darren Randall), Krystal (Rod Duncan), Cole; son Doug (Colleen) children Kyle and Jenna; son Ken (Ronda) children Brian and Amelia (Jory); son Dennis (Jackie) children Logan and Brooklyn; daughter Kathy (Graham Bates) children Daniel, Jordan and Tanner; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great- great-grandchild. Her family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who was involved in her beautiful life. Anyone who met Beatrice knew what a special, warm hearted and giving lady she was. In keeping with Beatrices wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life was held on August 18, 2011.
