HANOWSKI: Elvin “Al” Sebastian Hanowski. On Wednesday, September 28, 2011 we said good-bye to a husband, father, grandfather and friend. Al Hanowski passed away with his family by his side. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Lyla, his children Kim (Maurice), Daryl (Cindy) and Marla, his grandchildren Melanie (Cliff), Corey, Jordan, Kylee (Jamie) and Shawna. He was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Zach, Zoe and Ethan. A brother Eddie and sisters Tillie and Freda, along with numerous nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, 327 – 4th Street, with Fr. Dominic Yuen as Celebrant. The family of Al would like to thank the staff on the 3rd floor and the ICU of the Brandon Regional Health Centre for the kind and compassionate care they gave to him, and his family, during this difficult time.
