HAMEL: Bernadette Therese Hamel of Virden, Manitoba beloved wife of Ulric Armand Hamel and loving mother of Rose, John, George, Jocelyn and Anne passed away at Virden Health Centre, Virden Tuesday; December 20, 2011 at the age of 86 years. Funeral Mass will be held from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Virden Friday; December 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Geoffrey Angeles and Deacon Wifrid Barre officiating. Interment will be in Virden Cemetery. Evening Prayer Vigil will be held at Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Virden Thursday; December 22nd at 7:30 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to the Canadian Diabetes Association in memory of Bernadette.
