BERTHELETTE: Suddenly at home in Winnipeg, Sandra Elizabeth (nee Burnett) passed away January 2nd, 2012. Leaving to mourn her beloved family, Grant (Suzanne), Hailey and Emma; Kylia, Tyler and Leif; Melanie, Isabella; her parents Betty and Bill Burnett of Brandon. Siblings, Alistair (Hui Qing), Tanya and Arran (Christa), B.C;. Sheena (Ken) Calgary, Stewart (Cathy) Brandon; Robert & Rachel, Brandon; Gillian (Nick), Melfort; Gary (Kari), Brooklynn, Brandon. Also many nieces and nephews. Sandra was born in Fraserburgh, Scotland and came to Canada in 1973 with her parents and siblings, settled in Brandon until her move to Winnipeg in 2004 to be near her children and her grandchildren, whom she adored and were first in her life. Sandra will be sadly missed by all who knew her, friends and family. Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be taken home to Scotland as per her wishes. Celebration of Sandra’s life will be held on Saturday 28th January, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at East End Community Centre, following private family prayers. Donations can be made in Sandra’s name to the Autism Society of Manitoba.
