FALCONER: Florence Violet (nee Urssel) October 9, 1917 - January 29, 2012. It's with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our mother Florence in Victoria, B.C. She passed away peacefully and quite quickly at age 94. Florence was predeceased by Kirk Falconer, her husband of 44 years; Earl Hawkins, her partner of 12 years; her sister Alma (Jim) Cartlidge; and her daughter Deborah Jane Falconer. She is survived by her two daughters Karen (Joe Acquafredda) Falconer and Kim (Chris) Nixon; son Tom (Linda) Falconer; granddaughters Erin Falconer, Kelly Falconer, Sheena Nixon and Jade Nixon; grandson Bryce Nixon; and by her many adored neighbours and friends. Mom was a fun-loving fascinating woman and enjoyed everyone's friendship to the fullest. We will always cherish the memories of our mother, grandmother and friend. Mom will be missed by us all. Our special thanks go to the Ladies of Sidney Senior Care and in particular to Mercy Sagolili for their kind comfort and care. At mom's request there will be no funeral service, but the family will hold a celebration of her life at a date to be announced later this winter.
