GRANGER: Mary Margret "Peggy" Granger passed away at her residence Fairview Personal Care Home on Sunday, February 26, 2012. Peggy was born December 26, 1909 to Andrew and Annie Elder on their farm in the Blyth district. Peggywas the youngest of four. She attended Blyth school. Peggy enjoyed entertaining family and friends and was very active in the Anglican Women's Auxiliary. John and Peggy spent 17 happy winters in their home in South Texas. John and Peggy celebrated their 75th Wedding Anniversary in October, 2005. Peggy was predeceased by husband John, brothers Wallace, Graham, and foster brother Andrew, sister Lexie, daughter Muriel and grandson Scott English. Survived by son Jack and partner Esther Nicol, son-in-law Bill English. Grandchildren: Kim and Patrick English, Stewart Granger, Andrew (Colleen) Granger, Thea (Bill) Thompson, and their mother Donna Granger. Great-grandchildren: Chelsa English, Hannah, Jessica Granger, Kailey and Jayce Thompson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service was held at Memories Chapel on Friday, March 2, 2012 with Rev. Mark Murray officiating. She was laid to rest in Brandon Cemetery. Pallbearers were Don Granger, Ross Granger, Bryce Granger and Jeff Elder. Donations in memory of Peggy may be made to a charity of choice. Expressions of sympathy may be made atwww.memorieschapel.com. Arrangements were with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330.
