JASON: Andy "Henry" passed away in Brandon on Wednesday March 14, 2012 at the age of 86 after a short courageous battle with cancer. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years Julia (nee Kruk): his children; David (Eva) of Langley, Cecelia Martin, Nadreena (Rob) Rice and Glenn all of Brandon. Henry is also survived by his grandchildren; Shawntel (Kyle) Zalluski, Josoph Scott Martin, Tamara (Steve) Boling, Kendall Jason and two great granddaughters Emma and Claire. Henry leaves to mourn his sisterKathleen Barry of Winnipeg and her extended family. He also leaves three sisters-in-law and their families. Henry was predeceased by his parents Adam and Dora Jason, brothers John, Mike, George, Carl and his wife Dorothy, a sister Olga and brother-in-law, Ray Barry. Henry was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on October 27, 1925. His family moved to Brandon where he spent the rest of his life. Henry was in the RCAF during WW2, stationed in Whitehorse, Yukon. He spent his entire 42 year career with the CPR as a Fireman and Engineer. Henry and Julie were married May 28, 1949 and raised their children in the house he and his father built on Frederick Street. He will always be remembered fondly for his passion for his gardening and we always looked forward to his bountiful harvest of tomatoes which he generously shared with everyone. Henry loved his family and tried to show this more at the end. Bye Henry, "Dad, Keep watch over us, please!" The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Celebrant was Rev. Fr. Dominic Yuen. Pallbearers were: Joe Martin, Blaine Easter, David Easter and Terry Law. Interment was in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com.
