LEYS: It is with great sorrow the family of Garth William Leys announce his sudden passing on Friday, April 27, 2012 at his home in Rapid City, Manitoba. Garth was born July 29, 1962. He is survived by his loving wife Telayne, daughters Brianne (Trevor) and Brooke, mother Lila and her husband Dennis Baker. Sisters Candis Arksey (Gerald) Carol Dresler (Ron), Dana Munro (Scott), brothers Ken Leys (Kathy) and Donnie Leys (Sandra), father-in-law Jim Clark, and brothers-in-law Shaun Clark (Karen) and Kevin Clark (Naomi), and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins aunts, and uncles. Garth was predeceased by his father William Leys, his grandparents and mother-in-law Doreen Clark. A celebration of Garth's life will take place on May 19, 2012 at the Rapid City Legion Hall from 2-4. Any memories or stories of Garth you would like to share would be greatly welcomed. Donations can be made in Garth’s memory to the Rapid City Legion or a charity of choice.
