CHRISTIE: Passed away at the Glenboro Health Centre on Monday May 14, 2012 at the age of 80 years, Margaret Ruth Christie (nee Mooney), of Glenboro, MB. Ruth leaves to mourn her passing her loving daughter Donna (Garth) Christison of Brookdale MB, grandchildren Adam (Heather) & Katherine (Kevan) Lawrence and by great granddaughter Kyra Christison; brothers Dave (Shirley) Mooney of Wawanesa, Bill (Marg) Mooney of Ottawa Ont., brother-in-law Jack (Betty) Medd as well as numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Bruce (1994), son George (1968), parents George & Olive (nee Lawson), brother Bob (Flora) & by a sister Janet Medd. A Celebration of Ruth’s life will be held on Friday May 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Glenboro United Church. Interment to take place in the Glenboro Cemetery. Following the service, a reception will be held in the United Church C. E. Building. Friends that so desire, memoriams may be made in Ruth’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
