MABON: John “Lorne” Mabon of Baldur, MB passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012, at the Glenboro Health Centre at the age of 90 years. Left to Mourn Lorne’s passing are his beloved wife Elizabeth of Baldur, MB, sister Gladys (Calvin) Darling also of Baldur, MB, and brother Morley (Lynne) Mabon of Killarney, MB, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and in laws. Lorne was predeceased by his brother Ivan Mabon, sister Eleanor Dubyts, and parents John & Ellen (nee McLaren) Mabon. A celebration of Lorne’s life will be held at Baldur United Church, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012, with Elizabeth Goodson officiating. Following the service, a reception will be held in the Baldur Memorial Hall. Everyone is welcome. Interment in the Neelin Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
