MACK: Sadly, following a lengthy fight with cancer, Raymond Constant Mack, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away on May 10, 2012 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 64 years. Raymond was born on June 14, 1947, in Crystal City, son of Norman and Yvonne Mack. He started his life on the family farm at Snowflake where he later attended Star Mound (a one-room school). Later the family moved to Manitou for a year. After 1959 they moved to Kenton to farm once again. Throughout his youth Ray was active in Sunday School, Cubs, Scouts, newspaper route, 4-H beef club, Cadets and stamp collecting. Later in life he traveled his way around the country working at various jobs including baker, cook, construction worker and video store owner. In 1969 Ray married Harriet Corbey from Oak River. They had two sons: Gerald and Michael. Raymond was predeceased by his parents. Surviving are: His sons Gerald (Bobbie) Mack of Winnipeg and Michael (Laura) Lamb of Minnedosa; his five grandsons, Jesse and Jacob Mack and Victor, Zachary and Travis Lamb; his two sisters Marilyn (Bill) Tockar of Brandon and Diane (Rev. Colin) Grambo of Killarney; his two nieces Sonia (Kevin) Morrice and daughter Carly of Brandon and Kimberly Kaschor and daughters Iliyana and Serena of Winnipeg; his nephew Anthony (Mijin) Kaschor of Seoul, South Korea; and two aunts, Mrs. Eileen Law of Manitou and Mrs. Mitteke Joris of Belgium, as well as many other family members. Following earlier cremation there was interment and a private graveside service on June 9, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery (Harding, MB). Rev. Colin Grambo officiated. A time of family fellowship followed.
