YOUNG: Passed away at the Glenboro Personal Care Home on Thursday July 26, 2012 at the age of 103 years, Edward Young, of Glenboro MB, formerly of Mather, MB. Ed leaves to mourn his passing his three children, Adeline Merke (Bob Good) of Kenton MB, Allen (Adele) Young of Ninette MB, Lorraine (David) Livingstone of Cartwright MB, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren & 6 great great grandchildren; and by his sister Phyllis Preston in Osoyoos B.C. as well as numerous extended relatives. Ed was predeceased by his wife Hilda (nee Heckert), son Edwin, grandchildren Jeffrey Merke & Melvin Young, a great grandchild and by numerous brothers & sisters & their spouses. Funeral Services will be held on Monday July 30, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Mather Community Hall with Rev. Beth Clark officiating. Interment will take place in the Mather Cemetery. Immediately following the interment, a reception will be held in the Mather Community Hall. Everyone is welcome.
