Forever In Our HeartsOGREYSIK: Ennis Anne (McLeod). It is with deep sadness we announce that Ennis passed away very suddenly in her farm home on June 19, 2012. She was born in Elkhorn, MB on April 8, 1926, the youngest child of Lloyd and Mary McLeod. She grew up on the family dairy farm, helping with the dairy business well into her teenage years. Ennis married the love of her life, Frank on June 15, 1945. They shared 67 years together, and were blessed with five children: Gregg, Marni (Barrie) Hodgins of Melita, Lorrilee (Rod) of Edmonton, Kris (Cindy) OGreysik of Elkhorn, and Kim (John) Shepherd of Elkhorn. She leaves precious memories with husband Frank, sister Judy (Ken) Cruickshank of Brandon, thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a very special, very spoiled, black lab. She was predeceased by her mother Mary, sister Doris, eldest son Gregg, father Lloyd, son-in-law Larry Burnell, sister-in-law Anne McLeod, brother Llyal, and step-mother Phyliss McLeod. A family graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m. on June 26 at Elkhorn Cemetery, with Jim Atcheson, Sharon Dorey and Cameron Bradshaw officiating. Pallbearers were grandsons, Jayse Burnell, Justin OGreysik, Harley Shepherd, Trevor OGreysik, Justin Hodgins and Cody Shepherd, Carscadden Funeral Chapel of Virden were in charge of arrangements. Much of Moms life was lived as a special caregiver, caring for her disabled son Gregg in the home for 30 years till his passing, and the last four for Dad after his stroke. Mom always found peace and tranquility through her love of gardening and all of natures beauty. Mom had a magnetic personality about her that left a beautiful imprint on the heart of everyone that met her. Her strong faith and love of the Lord carried her through all of lifes struggles. God has you in His Keeping,We have you in our hearts. When someone we love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.
