MALAZDREWICH: Peacefully at the St. Boniface General Hospital, Winnipeg, Anne Malazdrewich (nee Krawec) passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012. Anne was born March 22, 1919 in Rorketon (Weiden), Manitoba to a family with 18 children. She married Albert in 1942 in Glenella. They lived in Minnedosa, The Pas and Brandon. Anne was passionate about her involvement with the church through the Catholic Women's League of Canada and numerous choirs. Anne, and her singing, cooking and Scrabble playing, will be missed by her surviving son, Doug (Elsie Flette of Winnipeg), many grandchildren, great grandchildren, six brothers and two sisters, daughters-in-law Caryl Brandt, Darlene Malazdrewich as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and father; husband Albert; sons Larry Marshall, Wally Malazdrewich, grandson Darryl Marshall, four sisters and five brothers. Prayers will be said at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, 327 - 4th Street on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Kevin Smith as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nigel, Tim and Blair Malazdrewich, Greg Malazdrewicz, Daniel and Willard Schur. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Anne may be made to a charity of choice.
