ESSIE: Karen Isabel Essie “Napish Adi Win” entered the spirit world on November 9, 2012 at the Assiniboine Centre with her loving family at her side. Karen is survived by her children Charlotte (Conroy) and Elijah, granddaughters Autumn and Shaeleen, brothers and sisters Kenny, Garth, Hank, Dolly, Jackie, Eileen and Norma, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by parents Mary Hotain, Sam Wombdiska, Leslie Hotain, siblings Olivia, Loretta, Arnold and Cleveland, grandchildren and nieces Veronica, Selina and Illiana. The funeral service will be held at the Sioux Valley Veteran’s Hall on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dave Thiessen officiating.
