HANNAH:(nee Ryfa) Julia Helena Barbara Hannah, born July 29, 1920, near Roblin, MB, passed away Monday September 17, 2012 in Oakville, Ontario, at the age of 92. Cherished wife of the late George Hannah (1990). Beloved mother of Christine and her husband Mark Rzepecki of Oakville. Dear Nana to Michael, Lauren and Erica. Predeceased by her siblings Bernice Massina, Frank, Walter (Blondie), Wanda (Vi) Campbell, Natalie (Nettie) Vitt and Ted. Julie grew up in Brandon. She graduated from St. Michael's Academy and trained in nursing at Brandon Mental Hospital, Winnipeg General Hospital and McGill University, Montreal. She served as Superintendant of Nursing at BMH in the 1950's. Funeral Mass was conducted at St. Peter's Basilica, London, Ontario on Friday September 28, 2012. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London, Ontario. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
