ELDER: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edmund James “Jim” Elder of Holland, MB on Monday, December 24, 2012 at the age of 75 years. Jim leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Joyce (nee Early) of Holland, MB, son Scott (Leanne) of Wawanesa, MB, daughter Kim (Denis) Le Heiget of Winnipeg, MB and grandchildren Ashlyn, Genevieve, Amelie, Evangeline and Mathurin, sisters Gayle (Johnnie) Ouellette and Sharon (John) McCoy, and brother Lynn Elder, as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws and extended relatives. Jim was predeceased by his parents Bill & Edith (nee Munro) Elder, brother & sister-in-law Bryson and Lucille Elder, sister & brother-in-law Cheryl and Ron Muir and mother & father-in-law George & Lily Early. Funeral service will be held at the Holland Community Hall, Holland, MB, at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012, with Rev. Robert Campbell officiating. Private family interment will take place prior to the service in the Brookdale Cemetery.
