CORY: With family by his side at the Wawanesa Personal Care Home on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 Henry Orville (Hank) Cory of Wawanesa, MB quietly passed away Hank leaves his wife of 57 years Lucille (Cahill). His son Terry (Linda) of Nesbitt, MB. Grandchildren; Karen, Ken, & Brian (Jen) with Great-grandchild Lillian. His son Tim (Suzie) of Calgary Alta. Grandchildren Josh & Tasha. Brothers; Colin (Merle) of Vancouver, Keith (June) of Winnipeg, Don of Wawanesa, Jim (Jean) of Brandon; Sister Helen Elliott of Wawanesa, Brother-in-law Ken Moffatt of Thunder Bay; Sisters-in-law Winifred Cory of Cobourg, Ont. & Joanna Willett of Atikokan, ON. Also his extended brothers and sisters -in-law Annette Korne (Gerry) of Ninette, Reg Cahill (Lynne) of Duncan BC, Peter Ternowski of Carberry, & Josie Lindley (Leonard) of Teulon & numerous nieces and nephews. Hank was predeceased by his parents, Ethbert (Bert) and Eva Cory; brothers Lorne, Howard, Lyall; sisters June Moffatt, Jean Fallis-Moffatt, Jessie Willett, and one infant sister Eleanor Cory; his sister-in-law Marjorie Cory; his brother-in-law Lloyd Willett; his mother and father-in-law Joe & Catherine Cahill; also, in-laws Peter & Germaine Proskiw and Eugenie Ternowski. Farming was one of Hanks true loves. Always there to help anyone in need. Another love was sharing time with Family and Friends. A past member of Wawanesa Lions Club, School Trustee, and member of Rebekah Fraternity were just some of his commitments. Hank enjoyed pitching hardball for the Oakland Braves, playing right winger on the hockey team, curling (both watching and playing) golfing with his brothers and sons, fishing and hunting. A celebration of Hanks life will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 1:00pm in the Wawanesa United Church. Interment will follow in the Minnewawa Cemetery.
