McGREGOR: Robert Donald McGregor, beloved husband of Margaret McGregor passed away with his family by his side on March 13, 2013 at the age of 80. Bob was born to the late Norman and Estelle (Spence) McGregor, September 17th, 1932 on the family farm. After attending Hernefield and Waskada Schools, he worked in the oil patch for several years. In 1958, he married Margaret Brown of Regent and began his farming career. With his strong work ethic he continued to farm with his brother and son until this past fall. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Margaret, eldest son: Ian (Dolores), children Paul, Blair, and Martine; son Norm (Donna), children Mallory (Lance) and Jillian; and youngest son Ryan. Brothers: Les and George (Charlotte). Brother-in -law: Murray (Shirley) Brown. Nephews: Scott (Azeb), Jim, Keith, and niece Michelle. Bob had a passion for farming, family and hunting. He looked forward to his coffee outings where many jokes and stories were told. Bob and Margaret enjoyed many summers camping at Mouse River where they made life long friends. A private interment was held at Waskada Cemetery on Monday, March 18th followed by a memorial gathering at 2:30 in the Waskada Community Hall.
