FLOYD: The untimely death of David William Floyd occurred March 2, 2013. William was born April 9, 1965 and took his schooling at Sooke, B.C. William was a gentle and kind person with a love for the outdoors, all animals and had many friends. He had extensive experience in culinary arts taking his training in Montana and California. He returned to Canada following an unfortunate accident and as his health declined he worked as a volunteer cook/kitchen helper at the “Gathering Place”, a drop-in center for people in downtown Vancouver. William is survived by his mother Patricia Floyd, Burnaby, B.C. his father Jack Floyd, Salmo, B.C. brother Glenn, sister Roseanne Paul (Issac) and favorite Aunt and Uncle Julie and Erle Duncan with whom he spent summer holidays at their farm in Chater, MB. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. If friends desire donations to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200 17th St. East or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
