BEARS: Jeanne C. Bears (Nee Bilinski) 1930-2013. Jeanne passed quietly away Thursday morning April 4th at her home with her husband and best friend Dave of 52 plus years at her side. Jeanne was predeceased by her older brother John in 2007, dear friend Margaret Carter in 2012, childhood pal Rita Prust in 2006, and Aunt Pat Hayden in 2009. She is survived by sister-in-law Kathy Bilinski, and her nieces and nephews along with their children. Andy Bilinski (Emma) Hannah and Marshall. Jeanne Lushaw (Murray), Tanner, Connor and Miranda. Darren Bilinski. Jody Hesse (Brad) Marian, Alice and Charlie. Jeanne known to them as AJ loved them all intensely. She is also survived by very close friends Les Coates and his mother Mary, Alice and George Cramer, Marion Yaromy, Louise and Rorie MacDonald and Madge Barker. Jeanne loved to travel, enjoying visits all over Canada, southern USA, Alaska, Caribbean, and Central America by ship, plane and particularly by car. She always felt the best part of any trip was coming home. Jeannes greatest passion outside of her family was her house and garden. We wish to express our sincere thanks to all her health care providers at Grace Cancer Care, Health Sciences Center Kidney Unit and Corydon Primary Care. Doctors Pat Harris, James Zachorias, Ray Singer and a very special Thank You to Jane MacDonald, Nurse Practitioner, whose care and compassion have been without bounds! At Jeannes request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday April 10th at 2: 00 p.m, at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Winnipeg MB. Stories and Remembrances of Jeanne will be shared at 2:30 p.m. No flowers please.
