BARR: Passed away at the Baldur Personal Care Home on Wednesday April 24, 2013 at the age of 99 years, Dorothy Florence Barr (nee Welch) of Baldur, formerly of Belmont MB. Dorothy leaves to mourn her passing her three children Allan (Janice) Barr of Lockport MB, Mervin (Carol) Barr of Calgary, AB, Ruby (Rod) Lee of Foam Lake, SK, six grandchildren; Karen (Wayne), Heather (David), Shawn (Nicole), Carrie (Dwight), Brian (Lyndsay), and Derrick (Cristin), thirteen great grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Irene Embury as well as several nieces & nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Oscar (1981), an infant daughter at birth (1940), grandson Darrin (2002), great granddaughter Olivia (2004), a great grandson Isaac (2008), brother Henry Welch (1942) & by a sister Mary Scott (2004). A Celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held on Monday April 29, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Christchurch Anglican Church, Belmont MB, with Helen Delorme officiating. Interment to follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Belmont.
