BAUMUNG: Eunice Baumung. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our mom and grandma Eunice. She fell into the loving arms of her Savior on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 surrounded by her family. Eunice Jean Elizabeth was born to Wilhelmina and Joseph Popp of MacNutt, SK on April 18, 1939. She graduated from Normal School in MooseJaw,SK and taught in a one room country school for two years. She then married Reinhold Baumung and spent the rest of her life in Langenburg, SK. She worked at the local IGA store for many years. Curling, golfing, volunteering, and spending time with her family and friends were among her favorite things to do. Eunice was predeceased by her parents and her husband Reinhold in 2007. Eunice will be lovingly remembered by her children, Shelley (Kevin) Schoenthaler, Kirby (Sherry) Baumung, and Clayton (Barb) Baumung, grandchildren, Connor and Chelsea Schoenthaler, Amanda and Cassidy Baumung, brother Vaughn (Ev) Popp, sisters Loverna Kentel, Merceda Finlayson, Karen (Bob) Charette, Marilyn (Harry) Antony, sisters and brothers- in-law,and many nieces, nephews,great nieces and nephews, and many friends. She will be truly missed by anyone who had the chance to know her. A funeral service was held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church in Langenburg with Pastor Arron Gust officiating. Interment at Christ Lutheran Cemetary. Lunch will be served at the Community Hall following. Friends so wishing may make donations to STARS Air Ambulance or Christ Lutheran Memorial fund.
