JEFFERY: Douglas Allan Jeffery 1930 - 2013. It is with great sadness and love that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather, Doug Jeffery aged 82 years of Morden, MB on Sunday May 19, 2013 at Boundary Trails Health Centre. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy in 2010, his parents, Fred and Bessie Jeffery, Ron (Bert), Phyllis (Murray) and Bernice (John). He is survived by his children. Debbie (Scott), Dianna (Ron), Danine (Dave) and Dan (Shelley) and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Marguerite (Jim), Bill (Ruth), Audrey (Earl) and Fred (Peggy). Dad treasured family time and looked forward to his fishing and camping adventures with friends and family. He never missed watching a Blue Jays game and was hoping that this would be their year. Dad was always willing to share the stories of his past. Mom and dad had a special love for dogs which has spread through the family. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date for family and friends. A special thank you to Boundary Trails Health Centre, specifically Dr. Woelk and Dad’s special family nurses, Debbie, Kaeleigh and Allison. Thank you to Joe Mulligan for always making “time”. Thank you to the staff in the chemo, palliative care and medical ward units. Also to the Handi-Van for bringing dad out for his weekly family ventures.
