MANULAK: Brian Manulak Nov. 6, 1946 - June 7, 2013. At the age of 66, after a courageous battle with cancer, Brian passed away peacefully with family at his side at the Hamiota Health Centre. Brian will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 45 years, Linda; daughters: Audrey (Joe), Shauna (Jeff), son Lloyd as well as his 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Betty Manulak, brothers: Sam Christie and Rodney Manulak; many nieces and nephews and extended family. Brian was predeceased by his son Darcy, grandson Brandon and his father Mike Manulak. He enjoyed a lifelong career in the trucking industry and found great joy in all things outdoors, whether it was fishing, working around the farm or cutting grass at the church in Dolyny. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. The family would like to thank Dr. Breneman and the staff of the Hamiota Health Centre for not only the care but also the comfort they provided. The prayers will be said on Thursday evening June 13th at 7:00 p.m. at Rae’s Funeral Chapel, Shoal Lake. The funeral service will be held on Friday June 14th at 11:00 a.m. from St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Dolyny. Father Mykhaylo Khomitskyy will officiate.
