HILLS: (Carlson) (nee Vickery) – Evelyn Martha Hills; beloved wife of Richard “Dick” Hills; mother of Sharon, Janice (Stuart), Dennis (Sharon), Cameron, Lisa; grandmother of Joel and Sean Carlson and Mark and Stephanie Wright; sister of Nora Shier, Gerry (Roberta) Vickery, Doug Vickery (Judy); sister-in-law of Laura (Carmen ) Falloon and Phil (Carol) Hills; passed away at the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital, Prince Rupert, BC on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 82 years of age. Services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013. A private family committal will take place at the Foxwarren Cemetery, Foxwarren, MB at 10:00 am. A graveside service for friends and family will take place at the Hamiota Cemetery, Hamiota, MB at 2:30 pm with a time of fellowship and refreshments following in the Hamiota Community Centre. For those so desiring, donations may be made in Evelyn’s memory to the B.C. Cancer Foundation, 150-686 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC, V5Z 1G1.
