IRVINE: Mervena Irvine of Birtle passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Sunnyside Manor Personal Care Home, Birtle, at the age of 90 years. Mervena is survived by her daughters: Gail (David) Lane of Birtle and Loretta (Stewart) Slymon of Calgary; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Birtle United Church with Linda Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the Hamiota Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Sunnyside Manor Personal Care Home, Birtle, Manitoba.
