DUNCAN: Lillian Sophia Duncan (nee Bjornson). Lillian Sophia Duncan (nee Bjornson) passed away peacefully at the Glenboro Health Centre on Monday July 8, 2013 with her family by her side. Lillian was born August 5, 1924 to Gustave & Andrea Bjornson of Belmont MB. Lillian married Robert George Duncan on June 20, 1946 and lived north of Glenboro until purchasing a farm at Hilton in 1951. Bob & Lily retired to Glenboro in 1991. Lillian enjoyed her flowers & bingo. Lily was predeceased by her husband Bob (2003), son Glenn (2010), son Cliff (2013), grandson Jeff (2003) and great grandson Braeden (2003). She leaves to mourn her passing her children Arlene (Herman) Ballast of Drumheller Alta., Verne (Brenda) Duncan of Hilton, Iris Duncan of Ninette, Kerry (Sharon) Duncan of Brandon, Lois (Al) Webster of Belmont; daughters-in-laws Dianne Duncan of Brandon & Darlene Duncan of Selkirk, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, with Sharon Hamilton officiating. Interment to follow in the Glenboro Cemetery.
