BARR (nee Jones): Passed away at the Glenboro Health Centre on Thursday August 8, 2013 at the age of 98 years, Gladys “Rona” Barr (nee Jones), of Glenboro, MB. Rona leaves to mourn her passing, son Don (Ruth) Barr of Glenboro, MB, daughters Betty (Cap) Cowan of Stouffville, ON, Carole (Wayne) Withers of Carman, MB, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; sisters Marjorie (Murray) Sutherland of Winnipeg, MB and Verna Skayman of Brandon, MB, sisters-in-law Margaret Heidman of Calgary, AB and Peggy Jones of Glenboro, MB, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Rona was predeceased by her husband George (2009), an infant daughter Marilyn, her parents Edward & Lillian (nee Edwards) Jones, sisters Isabel Shepherd and Ethel Sutherland, brothers Jerry, Evan and Jim, sisters-in-law Thelma, Alma and Alice Jones and brothers-in-law Wilfred Anderson, George Shepherd, Endsor Jewsbury, Stan Sutherland and Barney Heidman. A Celebration of Rona’s life will be held on Tuesday August 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, MB with Helen Delorme officiating. Interment will take place in the Glenboro Cemetery.
