KOROSCIL: Lawrence (Larry) Koroscil of Shilo, Manitoba, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre at the age of 80 years. Lawrence was predeceased by his wife Verna, parents Peter and Mary, brothers: Mike and Brian and sisters: Anne, Alice, Kay and her husband Frank Koss, Alice Harrison and Sonja Lyttle; nephews and nieces, Terry and Susan Lyttle and Gordie Koss. Left to mourn are his daughters Brenda (Herb) Black; son Mark Koroscil (Kim Hopkins) and granddaughters, Jazzy and Harley; granddaughter Rachel (Joe Curtis) and great grandson Andrew; granddaughter Angela and great grandson Conrad; Rachel and Angela’s father, John (Maureen) Hartnett . Also left to mourn his passing are his brother Don (Pat) Koroscil, sister Martha (Vic) Hodkinson, sister-in-law Lorna Koroscil, brothers-in-law: Ron Harrison and Jerry Lyttle; sister-in-law, Liz (Jerry) Baranyk, brothers- in-law: Louis (Donna) Kwiatkowski, and David (Linda) Kwiatkowski. There are numerous nieces and nephews and extended family who will fondly remember “Uncle Lawrence” as well. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sprucewoods Community Hall, Shilo. Interment will take place at the Birtle Cemetery at a later date.
