It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandma and loving wife, Vivian Arlene (Cook) Higham on Monday, August 5, 2013. she was surrounded by the love of her family and devoted husband Edward of 60 years. Left to cherish Vivians memory are her husband Edward; three daughters Sharon Beaudry, Jo-Ann (Cam) Mealy, Lori-Lynn (Gilles) Salesse; son Ron (Kathy) Higham; and sadly missed but never forgotten by her nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Vivian was born July 26, 1934 in Cypress River and raised in Holland, Manitoba. She had a wonderful sense of humour and her family always came first, she will be forever remembered in our hearts. A celebration of Vivians life was held on Friday, August 9, 2013 in the Chapel of Memories in Wojciks Funeral Chapel, Winnipeg. Burial will be held September 7, 2:00 p.m. at Oak Bank Lea Cemetery, Oak River, Manitoba. Our family is grateful for the dedicated and compassionate staff at Poseidon Care Centre.
