JARDINE: Aaron Daniel Jardine. On Wednesday, August 28th, 2013, Aaron Daniel Jardine of Brookdale, Manitoba was taken unexpectedly from his family and friends. He was born on May 2nd, 1982 in Brandon, to Dan and Barbara J. Jardine. He was a younger brother to Laura, and proud older brother to ElizaBeth, and Robyn. Aaron was baptized on June 15, 1982, with proud Godparents Bonnie and John Leuser standing by. They played an active role throughout Aarons life. Aaron attended Elementary School where he excelled in running and soccer. He participated in the 4-H Club at Brookdale, where he chose hands-on opportunities such as carpentry and auto mechanics. Aaron also enjoyed drumming on his drum pad while his Dad and sister played the bagpipes. Aaron graduated from N.A.C.I. (Neepawa) in 2001. Aarons family and friends will forever remember his quiet, loving nature, and his inquisitive mind; especially in the area of Religion and Theology. Aaron was very gentle and kind, able to find the humorous side of most situations. Despite being diagnosed with Schizophrenia in early adulthood, Aarons genuine and lovable nature was unshaken and ever present. Aaron was confirmed in St. Augustines R. C. Church (Brandon) in 2012. He lived independently in Brandon, enjoying his visits home with family, and coffee with his many close Brandon friends. Aaron audited two university courses, and filled his time with reading and contemplation. Aaron was predeceased by Grandparents Clair and Jean Jardine, Marguerite (Muggs) Briese Baker and his baby uncle Allan Edward Baker (1953), who was the triplet brother of his mother Barbara, and her sister Aunt Bonnie Leuser. Aaron is survived by his grandfather D. Roy Baker, father Dan, mother Barbara, sisters Laura (Andrew Dennis, Brookdale), ElizaBeth (Stacey Gummo, Sylvan Lake, Alberta), and Robyn & Ryan Zadorozny (Carberry), niece Hailey, nephews Shawn and Liam Dennis, Godparents, many extended family members and friends. Aaron was carried to his rest on September 4, 2013 at the Brookdale Cemetery. His pallbearers included Dan, Bill, Neil, Doug and Scott Jardine, mother Barbara, Stacey Gummo, and Auntie Bon Leuser. His life was celebrated during his funeral mass at St. Dominics Church, Neepawa. Officiated by Fr. Mark Filip, Co-celebrated by Fr. Kevin Smith (Brandon), and Fr. Eric Giddons (Portage) and with the participation of Deacon John McKenzie (Brandon). Aarons family expresses their heartfelt appreciation to all those known and unknown, who assisted Aaron throughout his life, and following his death, and to all who offer comfort and support. As a way of celebrating, and honouring Aarons life, donations would be welcome for the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society.Aaron...we are so thankful for you and are deeply honoured to call you son and brother.
