JONES: Florence “Berneice” Jones (Nee Cannons). Berneice Jones (nee Cannons), beloved wife of the late Dave Jones, of Cypress River, MB, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre at the age of 92 years. Left to mourn Berneice’s passing are her daughters Valerie (Don) Boxall of Glenella, MB and Shelley (Marvin) Arason of Cypress River, MB, grandchildren Kimberley, Connor and Josh (Breanne), brothers and sisters-in-law Nellie Aubry, Murray (Jean) Jones, Mary Ruston, Laura MacDonald, and Kate MacDougall, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Berneice was pre-deceased by her husband David, parents Alfred and Nora (nee Helliwell) Cannons, sisters Victoria (Martin) Moody, Vera (Archie) Defoort, and Irene (George) Porter, brothers Len, Charlie, Horace and Sidney Cannons, brother-in-law Henry Berry and extended relatives too numerous to mention. Funeral Service will be held in the Cypress River United Church at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2013, with Sandra Rex officiating. Interment to follow in the Glencoe Cemetery.
