BUCKLEY: Linda Karen passed away in the Palliative Care Unit of the Assiniboine Hospital on December 3, 2013. Linda was born in Brandon on July 17, 1946, the daughter of Leila and Cliff Buckley. Linda lived in Calgary and Kelowna before returning to Brandon where she resided for the past 12 years. Linda was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Bruce and Wallace, her great-niece Karen Giesbrecht. Linda is survived by her sisters Joyce Mellin, Sandra (Bob) Speight and Valerie Swain, and sisters-in-law Joan Buckley and Marg Buckley, nieces Shari Haverstock, Sharla Curle, Karlyn Rubeniuk, Brenda Buckley, Sharon Crowston, Maureen Buckley, nephews Brock Speight, Barrie Mellin, Brian Buckley, Bryce Buckley, Gary Buckley, and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great- great-nephews. At Linda’s request there will be no funeral service. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Linda may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.You will always be in our hearts
