HAMMOND:Jack, beloved husband of Eva Hammond, father of Heather and Paul, died suddenly at his residence in Brandon, Manitoba on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the age of 88 years. A graveside funeral service for family and friends will be held at the Elgin Cemetery, Elgin, Manitoba on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a memorial reception at the Elgin Community Hall. In memory of Jack, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Cancer Care Manitoba. Kowalchuk’s Funeral Home Souris, in care of arrangements.
