CAMERON: Donald Percy Cameron. It is with heavy hearts that the family of Don Cameron of Selkirk MB announce his passing at home on January 21, 2014. Don was born to John and Edith Cameron in Carberry, MB. on May 29, 1954. During his travels in his youth he met Vicky Irene Brogden of Kimberley BC. They married and spent years out west, eventually making their way back to Brandon MB with their sons, Paul, Stuart and Duncan Cameron. Don will be remembered fondly by his brothers and sisters: Victor (Ella); Stewart (Kathy); Faye Mitchell; Fern (Peter) Wiebe; Amy (Glenn) Hobson and Shirley (deceased). He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and six grandchildren. Don’s love of fishing, camping, good jokes and music introduced him to people from all walks of life and he was sure to have left a lasting impression on each of them. A private ceremony will be attended by family. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice. “I only fish on days that end in Y!” Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements. www.gilbartfuneralhome.com
