DUNCAN: Mary Helen Duncan “Grandma Duncan” (nee McMurachy); beloved wife of the late Percy Duncan; mother of Fairley (Shirley), David (Pat), and the late Betty; passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, Brandon, MB on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 95 years of age. Visitation will be held at the Campbell Funeral Chapel, Hamiota, MB on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Hamiota Community Centre, Hamiota, MB on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 1:30pm with interment following at a later date at Burtt’s Corner Cemetery, Burtt’s Corner, NB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Unit 3 – 824 18th St, Brandon, MB, R7A 5B7; the Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, MB, R0M 0T0; or to a charity of one’s choice.
