ELLIS: Therese Marie 1926 - 2014. Therese who lived in Brandon for the last 26 years passed away quietly and peacefully at 84 years on January 26, 2014 in the Assiniboine Hospital. Mourning her loss is one son Tim (Wendy), grandsons Sean And Robin of Edmonton, sisters Germaine Ferrand, Gil Fingas, and brother Germain Ferrand. As well several nieces, nephews and relatives. Therese was born in St.Rose du Lac and married Alexander Leslie Ellis in 1950, moving to Edmonton in 1953 were they raised their only child. She was predeceased by Les in 1970. Therese will be remembered as a quiet, kind and gentle women. She was a painter, seamstress, and crafter. She will be missed by volunteers,her coffee group, old friends and relatives. Cremation has taken place and her cremains will be interned with her beloved Les in Beechmont Cemetery. Many thanks to the wonderful care and attention she received from her attentive sisters, and the hospital staff.
