HUMESTON: Isabelle Mary Humeston. Born February 7, 1918, died January 30, 2014 in her home at Fairview Home. Isabelle was born in Alberta, the eldest daughter of Margaret and James Cork. She spent most of her life in Manitoba, marrying George Humeston in 1941. They settled in Minnedosa. Two sons were born to them: Gary and Gerald. Isabelle was a homemaker, a kind, gentle person. Auntie Belle was greatly loved by her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son Gary in 1964, son Gerald in 1990, and husband George in 1998. Also predeceased by brother-in-law Gordon, 1998. Brother Ian and Norma and sister Beatrice and Walter. She is survived by a sister, Joyce Stewart, and a grandson, Daniel Humeston. Isabelle will be laid to rest with her family in the Minnedosa Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Isabelle may be made to the Children’s Hospital in Winnipeg.
