BELHUMEUR: Maurice Belhumeur. On Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the St Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, MB, Maurice Belhumeur, of Portage la Prairie, beloved husband of the late Irene Belhumeur, passed away at the age of 81 years. Prayers will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Monday evening, March 3 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the St Lazarre R.C. Church, St Lazarre, MB. on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St Lazarre Cemetery. Predeceased by his wife Irene; four sons Frances, Claude, Ronald and Maurice. He leaves to mourn his passing four sons Jerome, Clarence, Wilfred and Joseph; two daughters Valerie and Dorothy; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers Rosaire, Alex and Arthur; one sister Elizabeth and several extended family.
