LAWRENCE: James D. Lawrence died suddenly on Sunday, May 11, 2014. He is survived by brothers Don (Gwen), Stuart (Rosemary) and brother-in-law, Hugh Newton. James was predeceased by his parents Lottie and Robert and sister, JoAnn Newton. He is also survived by nieces Karma (Gary), Carlana (Merle) nephews Dean, Todd (Christa), Robin (Deleigh) and Jarrett (Mary). Jim spent his working life as an employee of the Royal Bank of Canada starting in 1960, until his retirement. He returned to reside in Brandon in 1994. A graveside service and celebration of life will be held at the Lyleton Cemetery on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with fellowship following at Lyleton Community Hall.
