COULTER: Sylvia Catherine Coulter, October 23, 1940 - June 22, 2014. It is with greatest sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Sylvia Catherine Coulter (Bryant) on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre at the age of 73 years.Sylvia is survived by her sons: Allan (Pauline) Coulter of St. Rose du Lac, Gavin Coulter of St. Rose du Lac, Grandson Colton Bell of Red Deer, AB, sister-in-law Annette Bryant of Russell, and cousin David Fisher of Inglis, MB. The family would like to thank the staff of Rideau Park for caring for our mother the last few years and a big thank you to the staff at the ICU at the Brandon Regional Health Centre for the care and compassion with our mother’s failing health. We would like to thank Dr. Penner from the ICU for his care and compassion he showed us while taking care of our mother. We would also like to thank the staff and doctors from Cancer Care Manitoba, Brandon for the care of Sylvia during her illness.The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from the Braendle-Bruce Funeral Chapel, Russell with Rose Kieper officiating. Interment will follow in the Russell Memorial Gardens. Following the interment there will be a time of fellowship and sharing of memories at the Russell Leisure Centre. If friends so desire donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
