GILLESPIE: Terrence Blair Gillespie (Terry), passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, after a brief battle with cancer. Terry is survived by his loving wife Gayle Drysdale, son Kurt Gillespie (Julia Toy), grandchildren Lola and Rudy of England. Daughter Kimberley Heide (Dale), grandchildren MacKenzie and Landon of Morden. Step-son Jason (Susan) Drysdale and step-grandchildren Jadianne and Robyn. Step-son Chris (Alisha) Drysdale and step-grandchildren Levi, Josh and Emma. Brother Dale (Joanne) Gillespie, sister Valerie (Rick) Isfeld. Mother-in -law Margaret Shanks. He is also survived by many relatives and friends. Terry was born September 21 1943, the 2nd child to Harry and Vi Gillespie in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. Terry's career was with Manitoba Hydro for 33 years in Winnipeg and Brandon. Upon retirement, Terry moved to his retirement paradise at Thomas Lake. Terry and Gayle spent many enjoyable winters in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Terry was predeceased by his first wife Sharon (McArthur) Gillespie in 2001 and his parents. A Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held at Central United Church, 327-8th Street, on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Funeral Celebrant, Kim Lewarne, officiating.
